Cellular Dynamics Sees $30 Million VC Round

   Madison, Wisconsin  --  Biotechnology company Cellular Dynamics International has secured $30 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

Cellular dynamics provides cardiac toxicity drug testing services as well as action potential and cytotoxicity screens.

Investors in the round included Tactics II Investments, Equity Group Investments and others.

The company said it would use the financing to launch its new lines for biomedical and pharmaceutical drug development and safety research.
