Alta Analog Receives New VC Financing

   San Jose, California  --  Fabless semiconductor company Alta Analog has secured $1.7 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Alta is developing semiconductor technologies for mixed signal and analog designs in a variety of areas of the electronics market.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Alta is still seeking an additional $2.6 million in funding according to the filing.
