Chumby Collects More Venture Capital Debt

   San Diego, California  --  Electronics company Chumby Industries has raised $1.5 million out of a $3 million venture capital debt round, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Chumby has created a compact device that wirelessly connects to the web and provides a variety of news and other information for consumer purposes.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
