BioAmber Receives $45 Million Venture Capital Funding

Plymouth, Minnesota  --  Clean tech company BioAmber has secured $45 million in a second round of venture capital investment commitments.

BioAmber says that they are using agricultural crops to transform them into green chemicals as a substitute for petrochemicals.

NAXOS Capital Partners and Sofinnova Ventures led the round, which also included Mitsui & Co.
