ImThera Medical Secures More Venture Capital

   San Diego, California  --  Medical device company ImThera Medical has garnered $1.8 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

ImThera is developing a neurostimulation medical device for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

ImThera is still seeking an additional $153,000 according to the filing.
