Autocar Launches E3 Advanced Series Hydraulic Hybrid

Hagerstown, Indiana  --  Waste disposal truck manufacturer Autocar has announced the commercial launch of the new hybrid refuse hauler.

Called the E3 Advanced Series Hybrid, the truck is considered to be the industry's lowest emission fully functional class VIII truck available.

The company says that its hybrid functionality has shown fuel consumption reductions of 30% to 50%, resulting in an average annual reduction of CO2 of 50 tons per truck.
