Agrivida Secures $2 Million VC Investment

   Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Biotechnology company Agrivida has garnered $2 million in new venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Agrivida is developing a family of integrated enzyme-feedstocks systems to improve biofuel production economics.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Agrivida is still seeking an additional $6 million in financing according to the filing.
