InfraReDx Receives $24 Million Venture Capital Equity

   Burlington, Massachusetts  --  Medical device company InfraReDx has garnered $24.1 million in new venture capital investment.

InfraReDx has developed a near infrared spectroscopy system to assist doctors in understanding the composition of coronary plaques during catheterization procedures.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed. The company said it would use the proceeds to expand manufacturing operations and commercial infrastructure support.
