Arstasis Adds Fifth Venture Capital Financing

   Redwood City, California  --  Medical device company Arstasis has received $25.5 million in its series E round of institutional venture capital investment, according to a report by Dow Jones.

Arstasis is commercializing what it calls an "innovative vascular access device designed to provide better solutions for arterial closure in catheterization procedures."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed. The company said it would use the proceeds for working capital and the launch of its flagship AXERA Access Device.
