Cyterix Pharma Closes Series A Round

   Redwood City, California  --  Cyterix Pharmaceuticals has received $9.2 million in its first round of institutional venture capital investment, according to a company announcement.

Cyterix is developing what it calls "cytochrome P450 - activated drugs."

Investors in the round included The Column Group and SV Life Sciences.

The company said it would use the funding to advance its two lead compounds through clinical studies.
