Nimble Storage Secures $25 Million Venture Capital

   San Jose, California  --  Online storage company Nimble Storage has garnered $25 million in its fourth round of institutional venture capital investment.

Nimble has created what it calls the "first converged storage and backup solution that significantly reduces the cost and complexity of storing, accessing and protecting data for enterprises."

New investor Artis Capital Management led the round, which included previous investors Sequoia Capital, Accel Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The company said it would use the new investment to support its sales expansion initiatives.
