Altheos Adds $6 Million Venture Capital Investment

   South San Francisco, California  --  Pharmaceutical company Altheos has landed $6.56 million in new venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Altheos says that it is focused on the "development of a best-in-class next generation eye-drop treatment for glaucoma."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
