Chiasma Collects $5 Million Venture Capital Funding

Newton Center, Massachusetts  --  Pharmaceutical technology company Chiasma has secured $5.1 million in additional venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Chiasma creates new drug products by combining its proprietary technologies with approved drugs.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Chiasma is still seeking an additional $18.2 million, according to the filing.
