Clean Urban Energy Receives $7 Million VC

   Chicago, Illinois  --  Software technology company Clean Urban Energy has raised $7 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

CUE has developed software that it says enables commercial buildings to become more efficient with their energy use.

Battery Ventures and Rho Ventures co-led the round. The company said it would use the financing to continue product development and its planned expansion within the US.
