Oblong Industries Adds Venture Capital Funding

   Los Angeles, California  --  IT company Oblong Industries has secured $15.6 million in new venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Oblong develops and sells gesture-recognition technologies for a variety of industrial and entertainment applications.

Investors in the funding round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Oblong is still seeking $9.4 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
