Apprenda Banks $10 Million Second Venture Capital Round

   Clifton Park, New York  --  IT company Apprenda has received $10 million in its series B round of institutional venture capital financing, according to a company statement.

Apprenda has developed a general purpose platform for SaaS applications that reduces cost and technical barriers.

Ignition Partners led the round, which included previous investors New Enterprise Associates and High Peaks Ventures.

The company said it would use the funding proceeds to accelerate its product development and expand marketing and sales efforts.
