Ballston Lake, New York -- Networking company Sixnet has announced the launch of its latest military grade gigabit Ethernet switch.

Called the MIL-326 Layer 3 IP67 Ethernet switch, the switch provides 24 ports, military D38999 connectors and a 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplink in a harsh defense environment casing.

The switch also eliminates the need to change configuration or media type. Sixnet says that it has more than 9,000 military-rated switches deployed in combat vehicles on varying platforms.
