Aciex Accepts $8 Million VC Financing

North Andover, Massachusetts  --  Pharmaceutical company Aciex Therapeutics has secured $8 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Aciex is developing as yet unspecified ophthalmic treatments for ocular diseases.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. The company's website says that they have several products in clinical trials.
