AliveCor Nets $3 Million Series A Financing

San Francisco, California  --  Medical monitoring device company AliveCor has garnered $3 million in its first round of institutional venture capital financing.

AliveCor has developed a wireless heart monitoring ECG device for the Apple iPhone platform.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.
