Brighter Banks $8 Million Second Venture Capital Round

Santa Monica, California -- Internet company Brighter.com has secured $8 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Brighter.com operates an online service that enables subscribers to shop for the most cost-effective dental services.

Benchmark Capital led the round, which included previous investor Mayfield Fund.

The company said it would use the financing to continue to build out its dentist network and finance additional growth initiatives.
