Point Grey Debuts Small GigE Vision Cameras

   Richmond, BC  --  Digital imaging technology company Point Grey has announced the launch of what it calls the world's smallest Gigabit Ethernet digital camera.

Called the Flea3, the camera measures 29 x 29 x 30 mm in size and is available in both monochrome and color versions.

The device features the Sony ICX445 CCD 1.3 megapixel image sensor that runs at up to 30 frames per second. The camera is list priced at $765.
