Vector Capital Acquires Motorola Solutions Divisions

  San Francisco, California  --  Private equity firm Vector Capital has announced an agreement under which it will acquire the Orthogon and Canopy businesses from Motorola Solutions.

Orthogon provides a point-to-point wireless broadband network capability and Canopy offers a point-to-multipoint wireless broadband network capability.

Vector said that it intends to merge the businesses into a single standalone company called Cambium Networks.
