6connect Collects $2 Million VC Financing

   San Francisco, California  --  IT company 6connect has raised $2 million in its first round of institutional venture capital investment, according to a company statement.

6connect has developed technology that assist enterprises in automatically make a transition to IPv6 networking standard.

Hummer Winblad Venture Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its sales and marketing initiatives as well as continue product development.
