AwarePoint Adds $27 Million Venture Capital Investment

   San Diego, California  --  IT company AwarePoint has garnered $27 million in its sixth round of venture capital funding.

AwarePoint provides a suite of workflow automation and tracking solutions to the acute care hospital market.

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round, which included Cardinal Partners, Venrock, Jafco Ventures and Top Tier Capital Partners.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its marketing initiatives and add client support resources.
