CVRx Launches Heart Failure Device Trial

Minneapolis, Minnesota  --  Medical device company CVRx has announced the launch of a clinical trial for its second-generation heart failure implantable device.

Called the Barostim neo, the device promises to allow for a more focused and efficient delivery of electric stimulation of the heart, shorter procedure times and greater longevity.

The trial is being conducted in Europe and Canada and the company plans to share the latest results on Tuesday, August 30.
