Personal Capital Exits Stealth With New VC

   Redwood City, California  --  Financial services company Personal Capital has received an undisclosed amount in its second institutional venture capital round.

Personal Capital is developing what it calls "America's next-generation financial advisor." The company is still in private beta testing.

Venrock led the round, which included previous investor Institutional Venture Partners. Perfect said that it has raised $25 million in venture capital financing to date.
