FirstRain Adds Venture Capital Investment

   San Mateo, California  --  Information technology company FirstRain has landed $6.4 million in new venture capital financing.

FirstRain provides business intelligence services to companies in the financial services, pharmaceutical and high-tech industries.

Oak Investment Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the new financing for growth and product development purposes.
