Restoration Robotics Adds Series C Venture Capital

   Mountain View, California -- Medical device company Restoration Robotics has garnered $41 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.

Restoration has created an interactive computer-assisted robotics system to harvest hair follicles for hair restoration procedures.

Clarus Ventures led the round, which included existing investors Sutter Hill Ventures, Alloy Ventures and InterWest Partners.

The company said it would use the financing to launch its hair restoration technology into the marketplace.
