Cortec Launches Compostable BioPlastic Product

  St. Paul, Minnesota  --  Bioplastics manufacturer Cortec has announced the commercial availability of a new biodegradable plastic film product.

Called EcoOcean, the new product is a result of production and resin technology development by the company's extrusion plants.

The company says that the new line of films and bags provide features such as commercial and low-temperature backyard compostability, marine biodegradability and 77% annual renewable raw material content.
