Okta Closes Series B VC Investment

   San Francisco, California  --  IT company Okta has garnered $16.5 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Okta has developed technology that enables enterprises to convert their independent applications into an integrated Cloud Area Network.

Investors in the financing were Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and Floodgate.

The company said it would use the financing for its "aggressive growth strategy."
