Brammo Books $5 Million Venture Capital Funding

   Ashland, Oregon  --  Electric motorcycle company Brammo has secured $5.2 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Brammo has developed its "Enertia" plug-in electric motorcycle, which it claims gets up to 45 miles per charge.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

The company is still seeking an additional $12.3 million in financing, according to the filing.
