Elevation Pharma Adds To First Venture Capital Round

San Diego, California  --  COPD treatment company Elevation Pharmaceuticals has secured $17 million in additional series A venture capital investment, according to a company statement.

Elevation is developing what it calls a "pipeline of improved aerosol drug products for COPD patients."

Investors in the round included Canaan Partners, TPG Capital, Care Capital and Mesa Verde Venture Partners.

The company said it would use the financing to pay for an ongoing mid-stage study of its EP-101 experimental drug treatment.
