Health Information Network Partners On Exchange

   Tucson, Arizona  --  The Health Information Network of Arizona has announced its partnership with OptumInsight to create a statewide Health Information Exchange network.

The purpose of the information exchange is to enable the sharing of clinical data between healthcare institutions in order to improve access, quality and safety of healthcare.

The exchange will be built on an existing Axolotl Healthcare Information Exchange system and will take advantage of a collaboration between health plans, hospitals, large group practices, consumers and local administrations in Arizona.
