The Aspen Institute Launches Credit Pilot Program

   Washington, DC  --  The Aspen Institute announced the launch of a new multidimensional approach research effort to building credit for aspiring low-income entrepreneurs.

Called Asset Building through Credit, the program will study whether or not financial education and coaching combined with a secured credit card can increase credit scores and allow small businesses to expand.

The study is being funded by a $750,000 grant from the Citi Foundation.
