BioRelix Receives New Venture Capital Funding

   New Haven, Connecticut  --  Biotechnology company BioRelix has garnered $3.6 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

BioRelix is developing antibiotics that focus on pathogens resistant to currently available drugs.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

BioRelix is still seeking $1.67 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
