AQT Solar Adds Second VC Investment

   Sunnyvale, California  --  Thin-film solar technology company AQT Solar has landed $18.7 million in its series B round of institutional venture capital.

AQT is commercializing what it calls "capital-efficient thin-film solar cell manufacturing technology."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed

The company said it would use the proceeds to deploy a second line of solar cell technologies.
