PHI Joins Launch of National Green Button Initiative

   Washington, DC  --  Pepco Holdings Inc. (NYSE: POM) announced that it has joined the White House in its launch of a national "Green Button" initiative.

The initiative encourages energy providers to enable customers to have access to their energy usage data, in order to facilitate greater awareness and energy efficiency.

Energy producers benefit by having greater knowledge of customer energy usage at a granular level which improves their ability to manage their energy production resources for the greatest profit.
