Ebrary Launches New Mobile Research Application

   Palo Alto, California  --  E-book technology company Ebrary has announced the launch of a new research application for the Apple platform.

The application, which is free, provides researchers with an efficient way to acquire content provided by the librarian system of DASH (Data Sharing, Fast). 




In addition, researchers can import their own research documents directly into the application.

Concurrent with the announcement, the company published its 2011 Global Student E-book Survey, where 60% of respondents indicated that downloading e-books was "very important", an increase of 16% over the same survey in 2008.
