Silver Spring Announces 4th Gen Technology

   San Antonio, Texas  --  Smart grid networking company Silver Spring Networks has announced its new platform for delivering smart grid innovation.

Called Gen4, the new technology promises to provide greater flexibility and choice to utilities while speeding network performance.

The company says its Gen4 system will provide the "industry's first Micromesh technology" which will enable utilities to efficiently cover a wide range of territory, from sparse to dense population areas.

Silver Spring claims that its systems have connected more than 10 million homes and businesses across 9,000,000 m of area.
