Bluefin Labs Nets Series B Venture Capital

   Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Software technology company Bluefin Labs has secured $12 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Bluefin is developing and commercializing technology for analyzing and indexing television programs and social media conversations that are about TV programs.

Time Warner Investments led the round, which included SoftBank Capital, Redpoint Ventures and Lerer Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing to "accelerate growth" of its sales and client service efforts.
