Adara Media Lands New Venture Capital Funding

Mountain View, California -- Digital media company Adara Media has secured $12.4 million in new venture capital investment, according to the company.

Adara says that it has developed technologies that enable advertisers to utilize its proprietary database and audience segmentation capabilities to improve their campaigns.

August Capital led the round, which also included previous investors Onset Ventures, Morgenthaler Ventures and Baseline Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing to continue investment in its advertising targeting platform and its sales and marketing initiatives.
