Mountain View, California -- Software developer Drchrono has garnered $2.8 million in new venture capital investment.

Drchrono is developing electronic health record technologies for the Apple iPad platform.

Individual investor Yuri Milner led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
