Elance Adds $16 Million In VC Funding

   Mountain View, California  --  Internet company Elance has garnered $16 million in a new round of venture capital funding.

Elance has developed an online platform that connects businesses with contingent workers.




Stripes Group led the round, which included New Enterprise Associates & Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

The financing round will be used primarily for growth purposes.
