Google Chrome Market Share Closes On Firefox

Mountain View, California  --  The relatively new browser entry Google Chrome has almost equaled the market share of the commonly used Firefox web browser.

According to recent usage statistics published by NetMarketShare for the period of December, 2011, Chrome enjoyed a 19.11% market share versus 21.83% market share for Firefox.

In February, 2011, only 10 months prior, Chrome had 11.41% versus 22.69% for Firefox.
