Next Big Sound Nets Venture Capital Funding

   Chicago, Illinois  --  Internet company Next Big Sound has received $6.4 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

The company has developed music analytics technology that enables users to monitor the behavior and activity happening for music artists, both online and off-line.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
