News Organizations Debut NewsRight Service

   New York, New York  --  29 information and news companies have announced the launch of a new independent digital rights and licensing organization.

Called NewsRight, service will provide easier ways to license content, track the use of the licensed content and discover unlicensed use of content.

The organization will be led by former ABC News President David Westin and says that its members account for 841 websites with a combined daily circulation of more than 147 million Americans.
