AST Launches Investor Services Retail Offering

   New York, New York  --  The American Stock Transfer & Trust Co. (AST) has announced the launch of a new service for issuers and shareholders of stock.

Called AST Investor Services, the service provides a retail investment portal that allows shareholders to buy or sell many types of securities.

The firm says that the service will help issuers maintain direct access with non-registered shareholders in order to facilitate shareholder communication.

The service will also enable investors to consolidate accounts from other agents or brokers.
