Dean Kamen Opens 21st FIRST Robotics Competition

   Manchester, New Hampshire  --  Inventor Dean Kamen announced the launch of the 21st FIRST Robotics Competition along with two former presidents and a group of celebrities.

FIRST teams received a kit of parts made up of motors, batteries, a PC, control system and a mix of automation components... but with no instructions.

The students have six weeks to design, program and test their robots while working with adult mentors.

At the end of the six weeks, the teams participate in various robotics competitions.
