Catavolt Grabs Series A Venture Capital Investment

Alpharetta, Georgia  --  Mobile technology firm Catavolt has raised $1.5 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Catavolt has created middleware that helps enterprises connect their enterprise data system to Internet connected devices.

FCA and Clayton Associates led the round, which included other investors.

Catavolt said it will use the funds to expand "the resources needed to handle the rapidly increasing market demand."
