Appia Secures Venture Capital Investment

   Durham, North Carolina  --  Software company Appia has garnered $1.5 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Appia has created an online, cross-platform open application store and content marketplace.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.
